If you find yourself in Florida City, making a stop at Robert Is Here is absolutely essential. This family-owned fruit market is so much more than just a stand, it’s an experience, and one we make a point of enjoying every time we are in the Miami area. While they feature an incredible, extensive array of exotic fruits and vegetables (yes, some items can be a bit pricey, but it is truly worth the money given how difficult many of these unique finds are to source), the real draw for us is the smoothie and milkshake bar. Their shakes and smoothies are legendary! My personal favorites are the rich coconut and creamy mango milkshake, and the refreshing pineapple coconut smoothie. They are the perfect way to cool down. A pro tip: place your order for your drinks and sandwiches first, and then take the short wait time to check out the fun petting zoo. It’s a great system. With the fantastic food, the novelty of the exotic produce, the lovely atmosphere, and the bonus of live music, I highly recommend stopping by.

Some items are cheap but others of the more rare or exotic fruits are costly. I’d call this a hidden gem in south Florida. There is no other farm stand you can go to that has fresh common and exotic produce, with a tiny cafe trailer, sandwich shop, plants shop, and petting zoo. The only cost is the food, the knowledge from staff and experience is well worth it. Thanks Robert, good meeting you! You’ve made something truly unique!

Stopped by on our way to the Everglades and stocked up on tropical fruits. They had a great variety of organic and locally grown fruits. We got sugar apples, sapodillas, black sapote, papaya, star fruit, and soursop. I'm excited to try the Emu egg next time!

Dreamy. I wish I could have tried every milkshake possible. So many possible fruit options! The produce was fresh and looked amazing. They sell jerky and honey and jams here as well! We had never tried some of the fruit or flavors there and the man working the smoothie counter was very helpful and informative. I absolutely love this place. It’s a must see!

Great selection of exotic fruits. There was a very long line for milkshakes (around 30 people), so we decided not to wait. Nice mini zoo and a pleasant overall atmosphere.

Robert Is Here is a family-owned fruit stand and farm in Homestead, Florida. During our visit we enjoyed some rare fruits, vegetable and creamy milkshakes made from seasonal produce. They have petting zoo with goats and tortoises, birds, picnic areas, and live music, making it a famous stop near Everglades National Park. It opens daily from 9 AM to 6PM with free parking.

You don’t come here just to buy fruits — you come here to experience fruits. The moment you step in, the vibe is unlike any fruit stand I’ve visited before. You instantly want to try everything on display. What truly makes this place special is the people. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited to educate you about the fruits — how to tell if one is ripe, how long it will take to ripen, and the best way to enjoy it. One of my favorite parts was the checkout experience. They still do manual calculations with pen and paper instead of machines. As someone who constantly thinks about tech and AI use cases, this felt refreshingly personal and human. We got to relish seasonal fruits milkshake, cacao pods and guanabana (soursop) on the spot, and packed black sapote and canistel to try later. Every recommendation felt thoughtful and spot-on. It was also inspiring to see Robert, the founder himself, present and interacting with customers. That alone tells you how much heart goes into this place. The experience was so memorable that I even ended up buying the book about Robert Is Here from the store. If you’re anywhere near Homestead, this is an absolute must-stop.
